Metop-B manoeuvres in September (with GOME and IASI outages):
To extend the lifetime of Metop-B, five satellite manoeuvres are planned in September (with instrument outages).
The first manoeuvre is planned on 2 September, with the following GOME-2 and IASI outages (˜2 orbits).

Similar manoeuvres (with GOME-2 and IASI outages) are planned for 9, 16, 23 and 30 September (but the dates are not fixed yet).
EUMETSAT does not expect an impact on the GOME-2 Level 1 product quality before and after the instrument deactivation, but they will closely monitor the performance of the Level 1b product quality on these days.
