Temporary shortage of Absorbing Aerosol Height products

As announced in December 2020, the AAH data records are to be released. The discontinued GOME-2A/B AAI-MSC (Absorbing Aerosol Index from the main science channels) products currently in the online archive are removed 3 February and available only via special request to AC SAF Helpdesk. Archiving of the AAH data records begins 4 February and will take a few days to complete. In the meantime, there will be a limited number of AAH files available.

When the release process is complete, the following AAH data records and offline products are available from the AC SAF archive:

• GOME-2A AAH data record (23 January 2007 - 31 July 2018)
• GOME-2A AAH offline product (2 March 2020 onwards)
• GOME-2B AAH data record (12 December 2012 - 31 July 2018)
• GOME-2B AAH offline product (2 March 2020 onwards)
• GOME-2C AAH offline product (14 September 2020 onwards)
