System upgrade:

On Monday 15th of June 2026 KNMI will perform PGE upgrade of the operational processors for the ozone profile products, and derived L3 grids.

Main changes in this release:

• GOME-2B: Update of ozone profile degradation correction time period from 2018 – current to 2022 – current, with an increase of the degradation correction polynomial fit order from 2 to 3
• GOME-2C: Update of ozone profile degradation correction time period from 2019 – current to 2022 – current

After the upgrade the following configuration will be in effect:

• NHP/OHP: Software version 2.60 dated 20260507, algorithm version 2.30, output product format 5.20, configuration version 2.20
• AAI/AAH: Software version 3.20 dated 20260129, algorithm version 1.50, output product format 5.20, configuration version 2.10
